I will overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
